The Infamous Masterson’s , nestled in the bustling area of Moonee Ponds , brands itself as a fashionable, contemporary hangout, but my most recent experience at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I discovered behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .
Cleanliness Issues : Unhygienic and Neglected
From the moment I stepped inside , it was evident that cleanliness was not a priority at this venue. The floors were sticky , and a foul smell of uncleaned spills and uncleaned toilets permeated the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of excrement , putrefaction and a sickly smell. The main bar, which should be the primary feature of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and litter that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The bathroom was in even worse condition — backed up, with a cracked flush mechanism and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human excrement .
